This is the second post on a 3 part series that covers the features we’ll be offering – apart from the overall LAMP platform, the atomicSTACKā¢. These features will help power your websites.
CloudFlare CDN
AtomicVPS is an official CloudFlare partner. CloudFlare is a CDN (Content Delivery Network) with 12 nodes around the world. The network caches static files and serves them to visitors based on geographic location which means faster page load times. It works with dynamic content and if your site goes offline for some reason CloudFlare will serve up a basic online version of your website. It comes loaded with handy analytics and help stop website attacks too. You can activate CloudFlare via cPanel with just the click of a button.
Softaculous Auto-Installer
Pretty much all cPanel hosts offer some kind of script auto-installer (as the one loaded with cPanel is so poor) and we will be no different. Our installer of choice is Softaculous and it allows one-click installation of 230 programs and counting.
RVSiteBuilder (and RVSkin)
We will also be offering RVSiteBuilder as standard on all accounts. This awesome Sitebuilder goes from strength to strength with over 4,000 templates to choose from and more being added all the time. The same company also produces the popular RVSkin cPanel theme which we will also offer as standard. However, we are working on our own Plesk inspired cPanel theme which is going to blow all others out the water.
Attracta SEO Tools
Attracta developed an SEO plugin for cPanel that lets webmasters perform some simple SEO tasks from cPanel. The plugin has 7 options in cPanel like “Get In Google” and “Increase Traffic” and “Google Sitemap”. To be honest the only useful thing is the Google Sitemap and getting listed in Google if you aren’t already listed. There’s a button for “Link Building” which allows you to join Attracta’s own Link Directory.
It’s a bit of a gimmick and obviously Attracta have developed it so webmasters sign up for their paid service but the Google Sitemap utilty is helpful so we are including it. It will soon be bundled with cPanel as standard but for now we have installed it manually. Hopefully Attracta will continue to develop it so it will be more useful.
